About this article

Hello beautiful souls,

I’m Maxi. A curious wanderer, yoga teacher/ therapist, and community weaver. My path has taken me across countries and cultures, but the land that continues to draw me in again and again is India. It’s here that I’ve experienced the depth and beauty of yogic living. A place where the sacred weaves into the everyday.

Since 2013, India has become a second home. Its mountains, rivers, backwaters, and people have held me through countless transformations. The practices of yoga, Ayurveda, and devotion have shaped how I live and how I serve. I’ve learned, unlearned, and found stillness amidst the movement.

This is me, Maxi

Yoga On and Off the Mat

My teaching is rooted in tradition but guided by feeling. I’ve trained in various lineages and healing modalities, but what matters most to me is creating a space where people feel safe to reconnect with themselves. Yoga is not something we do. It is how we breathe, relate, move, and meet life as it is.

I offer classes in Yoga and Vedanta philosophy, sharing ancient wisdom in a simple, grounded way. Whether it’s the Hindu Deities or the Gita, I love making complex teachings accessible and alive. Students often tell me they leave with a clearer sense of self and a deeper connection to Sanātana Dharma.

My classes are open to everyone - regardless of age, body, or background. Yoga truly is for all.

Aikyam: A Journey in Togetherness

Aikyam means oneness. It is a shared vision created with my dear friend Kumara. Together, we guide spiritual journeys through India that go beyond sightseeing.

We invite you into slow, immersive experiences. Time to be. Time to feel. Time to meet the soul of this land. Through sacred places, daily rituals, practices in nature, and meaningful conversations, we create space for inner and outer exploration.

These are not just tours. They are opportunities to pause, connect, transform and be part of something deeper.
