Deshadan Eco Valley Resort is situated next to the banks of the water catchment area of the Pattisseri Dam in Kanthalloor, a virtually rain-shadow village on the eastern side of the Western Ghats near Marayur. The property features a mud house concept with eco-style accommodation. Kanthalloor is famous for its cool season fruits — apples, oranges, plums, peaches — that are not grown elsewhere in Kerala.
