Uttarakhand is the physical and spiritual summit of India. Dominated by the Himalayas, it is the source of the holy Ganges and Yamuna rivers. For thousands of years, yogis have retreated to these caves and peaks to meditate. It is home to the Char Dham Yatra and the Yoga Capital of the World. The air itself feels charged with the energy of tapas (austerity).
